Dr. Kartman has been giving masterclasses in person for the past 20 years. Passing on the knowledge and artistry of his pedagogical forefathers like Harvey Shapiro, Zara Nelson, Bernard Greenhouse, and others is central to his mission as a Professor of Cello and Chamber Music.

 

During the past two years Kartman has acquired the ability to do so virtually through the internet in any institution that has a high speed internet connection, good quality audio equipment, and a host with some interest in learning or knowledge of the technical requirements of hosting an online masterclass.
